Madden 26 Ultimate Team: Top 10 Must-Have Golden Tickets
May-29-2026 PSTWhat's good, fellas? If you're tired of losing and want to win more Madden games, you've come to the right place. Today, we're breaking down the top 10 must-have Golden Tickets (GTs) in Madden 26 Ultimate Team (MUT). Golden Tickets are by far the best cards in the entire game, but not all GTs are created equal. To afford the top-tier GTs on this list, you may need to buy Mut 26 coins to build your coin stack quickly. This guide will help you spend your coins wisely and build a championship roster.
Before We Begin – A Few Key Points
First, understand that Golden Tickets exist on a completely different level from everything else in the game. However, even among GTs, there are S-tier players and there are cards you should avoid. For example, Ed "Too Tall" Jones is an exception to the rule – do not buy that card no matter what. Don't use him.
Also, this guide focuses on must-have cards. Just because a GT isn't on this list doesn't mean it's bad. It simply means other GTs are better options for your lineup.

The Top 10 Must-Have Golden Tickets
1. Andre Johnson (Wide Receiver)
Andre Johnson is a brand new player and an absolute must-have. His baked-on abilities are excellent, and his size is electric. The only downside is his price tag, but elite comes at a cost. If you can afford him, he's one of the best receivers in the game.
2. The Elite Quarterback Trio (Tyler Shelvin, Aaron Rodgers, Dak Prescott)
Instead of listing three separate QBs, these three share this spot. They are the best GT quarterbacks by a wide margin. The reason? Their baked-on abilities: Gambit, Dots, and Traz. These abilities separate them from other QBs like Lamar Jackson, Caleb Williams, or Drake London (who is a lefty with release zero – not ideal). If you want a quarterback, target one of these three.
3. Mack Hollins (Wide Receiver / User)
Mack Hollins is a stud. He stands 6'4", 221 lbs, with great stats and baked-on abilities that all make sense. He has excellent team chems and is everything you could want from a user Golden Ticket. He's on the expensive side (around 2 million coins), but prices drop over time.
4. Jeffrey Simmons (Defensive Tackle)
Jeffrey Simmons might surprise you. I played against this card recently, and he was cooking my offense. He has Vanguard baked on, which is money. He makes more plays than any other defensive lineman on my team. If you need interior pressure, Simmons is your guy.
5. Trevor Lawrence (Wide Receiver / Offensive Weapon)
Yes, Trevor Lawrence makes the list as a receiver. This card has Vanguard, Secure Pro, and YAC Him Up all baked on. He has great size, runs excellent routes, and is one of those GTs that just performs. If you prefer offensive Golden Tickets (like I do), don't sleep on Lawrence.
6. Frank Gore (Tight End / Big Body)
Frank Gore is a beast. At 6'8", 315 lbs, he plays like Rob Gronkowski out there with Vanguard baked on. There's not much more you could ask for from a big-bodied tight end. He's a monster in the passing game and a matchup nightmare for smaller defensive backs.
7. Patrick Peterson (Cornerback)
It's hard enough to get stops in this game. Giving yourself the best possible chance with top-tier defensive backs is something I encourage every single one of you to do. Pat Pete has the ideal ability stack for a GT cornerback. Along with Andre Johnson and Joe Milton (more on him below), Peterson is one of the top three DBs in the game.
8. Randy Moss (Wide Receiver)
Listen, Randy Moss is Randy Moss. Long stride, elusive, electric. He's a must-have in terms of pure talent. However, at around 2.5 million coins, he's not 2.5 million coins better than Jameis Winston, Patrick Paul, or Mike Evans. He's overpriced. If you have unlimited coins, get him. If you're on a budget, look elsewhere.
9. Ogden (Defensive Tackle / Guard)
Ogden is a beast on the defensive line. Dual Threat Avalanche and Colossus baked on – that's the stack of all stacks you want to see on a defensive tackle. He makes more plays than any other defensive lineman on my team, including Tibbs (who is good but not a must-have).
10. Johnny Wilson (Tight End)
I almost forgot about Johnny Wilson, but he is that guy. He's the best tight end in the game, worth every single penny. Use your tight end Golden Tickets over your wide receiver GTs. Carmichael is also excellent (6'8" with proper ability stacks), but Johnny Wilson takes the final spot.
Cards to Avoid or Consider
Ed "Too Tall" Jones – Do not buy. Do not use. He's the exception to "all GTs are good."
Jahmyr Gibbs – A good small back for specific routes, but not a must-have.
Aidan Hutchinson – Baked-on abilities are good but not great.
Drake London (as QB) – Left-handed with release zero. The worst quarterback release. Only consider if you want a speed boost for QB power runs.
Daniel Faalele – Underrated big back. For around 800k, he's a great value, but big backs don't move as well this year. Not quite must-have, but close.
Patrick Paul – Under 1 million coins with great size (6'8"). Route Tech baked on is fine, not amazing.
Mike Evans – For the price, go Mike over Randy Moss. Great value.
Joe Milton – One of the top three DBs, but Andre Johnson and Pat Pete are better.
Caleb Williams – Best animations in the game, but you won't love the abilities. Still really good.
Final Pro Tips
Prioritize ability stacks – Gambit, Dots, Traz, Vanguard, and Secure Pro are the abilities that separate elite GTs from the rest.
Price matters – A 2.5 million coin card needs to be significantly better than an 800k card. Often, it's not.
Tight ends over wide receivers – If you have to choose, invest in a GT tight end like Johnny Wilson or Frank Gore.
Defensive backs win games – Hard to stop offenses? Get Andre Johnson, Pat Pete, or Joe Milton.
Don't chase names – Randy Moss is iconic, but Mike Evans at a lower price might serve you better.
